IAVPHS
The efforts for establishing the Indian Association of Veterinary Public Health Specialists (IAVPHS) started on 3rd May 1997. The Association was registered under the Society Act in 1998 and presently has around 700 life members. The Association focuses on broad field of Veterinary Public Health including food safety, zoonoses, environmental hygiene, comparative pathology & biomedicine and other related aspects of public health. The Association’s role is to provide a forum to Veterinary Public Health Specialists from diverse fields to deliberate on important issues relating to VPH research, education and extension and present its views to scientific community, planners, policy makers, industrialists and other stakeholders for the benefit to mankind.
