Dr. A.T. Sherikar Outstanding Public Health Veterinarian Award

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The applicant must have made significant contributions to the field of Veterinary Public Health for a period of at least 20 years. These contributions should be evidenced by scientific or field achievements documented in a verifiable form.
  • The applicant must be a life member of the Indian Association of Veterinary Public Health Specialists (IAVPHS).


Nomination Process:

  • The candidate must be nominated by a life member of IAVPHS.
  • The nomination must be seconded by at least two life members of IAVPHS.
  • The complete CV of the nominee, highlighting their significant contributions to Veterinary Public Health, must be submitted using the prescribed proforma.
  • The nomination should be submitted to the General Secretary, IAVPHS following the announcement of the call for nominations.


Selection Process:

• The nominations will be screened by the Executive Committee of IAVPHS to select the most appropriate candidate for the award.


Award Presentation:

  • The award will consist of a memento, a citation, and a certificate.
  • The award will be presented during the upcoming Annual Conference of IAVPHS.
