Eligibility Criteria:
- The nominee must have made significant contributions to the field of Food Safety, specifically related to food of animal or aquatic origin, for a minimum of 10 years, with evidence of these contributions documented through scientific achievements.
- The nominee must be a life member of the Indian Association of Veterinary Public Health Specialists (IAVPHS) for at least 3 years.
- The nominee must be 60 years of age or younger as of the final date for submission of the award application.
Nomination Process:
- The candidate must be nominated by a life member of IAVPHS and the nomination must be seconded by at least two other life members.
- A complete CV of the nominee, outlining their significant contributions to the field of Veterinary Public Health, must be submitted using the prescribed proforma.
- The nomination should be sent to the General Secretary, IAVPHS following the announcement of the call for nominations.
Selection Process:
- Nominations will be screened by the Executive Committee of IAVPHS, which will select the most suitable candidate for the award.
Award Presentation: - The award consists of a memento, a citation, and a certificate.
- It will be presented during the Annual Conference of IAVPHS
