Prof. Mahendra Pal Zoonoses Award

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The award is open to research work carried out in the field of zoonoses.
  • The presenting author and/or at least the 1st author must be a life member of the Indian Association of Veterinary Public Health Specialists (IAVPHS).

Application Process:

  • Applications will be invited for oral presentation during the Upcoing Annual Conference of IAVPHS.
  • Applicants must submit their research paper along with an undertaking by the author stating that:
  1. The research work has not been published elsewhere.
  2. The research will be submitted for publication (in full or part) to the Journal of Veterinary Public Health (JVPH) of IAVPHS.
  • The application and supporting documents should be submitted to General Secretary, IAVPHS with copy to Organizing Secretary of scheduled conference.


Award Conditions:

  • The winner of the award is required to publish the presented research work (either in full or part) in the Journal of Veterinary Public Health.
  • Failure to publish the research will result in the withdrawal of the award by the association.


Exclusions:

  • The published work under this award will not be eligible for:
  1. Dr. S.P. Singh Best Paper Award
  2. Dr. P.D. Deshpande Best Paper in Epidemiology Award (published in the JVPH).
  • Applications for the Prof. Mahendra Pal Zoonoses Award and the Dr. V.N. Bachhil Young Scientist Award must contain separate research findings/manuscripts.
  • The same research work cannot be submitted for both awards.


Presentation and Award:

  • The award will be presented during the Annual Conference of IAVPHS.
