Dr A.T. Sherikar Outstanding Public Health Veterinarian Award was instituted in the year 2014 to recognize the person who has made significant contribution in the field of Veterinary Public Health for at least a period of 20 years as evidenced by scientific or field achievements in documented form. The applicant should be a life member of the Indian Association of Veterinary Public Health Specialists.
