ABSTRACT

Campylobacter isolates recovered from broiler integration chain were screened for flagellin (flaA) and Campylobacter adherence (cadF) genes were detected using specific primers by PCR. The overall prevalence of flaA and cadF genes was 32.25% (10/31) and 41.93% (13/31), respectively. The high prevalence of virulence genes in Campylobacter isolates is alarming from public health point of view.
