ABSTRACT

It is concluded that the samples of water in the Kumaon region contained residues of chlorpyrifos, endosulfan, deltamethrin and fenvalerate. However, none of the samples showed residual concentration above the MRL, i.e., 10, 2, 2 and 5 µg/ml, respectively, as per guidelines of WHO (1990).
