ABSTRACT

In sheep, the animals slaughtered at Madras Veterinary College had cadmium levels below detectable range (1 ppm) in all the samples, whereas, presence of substantial quantities of cadmium were found in muscles and organs of sheep slaughtered at Corporation Slaughterhouse, Chennai-12.
