ABSTRACT

Overall prevalence of cryptosporidiosis in cattle recorded was 22.38%. The disease was more prevalent in the age group of 6 years and above (45.83%) as compared to 0–6 month-old calves (28.81%). The higher percentage of Cryptosporidium infection was recorded in females than males. The prevalence recorded during winter, summer, rainy season, and autumn was 45.16%, 27.27%, 19.23%, and 32%, respectively, in diarrhoeic cattle. In non-diarrhoeic cattle, the highest prevalence (15.15%) was recorded during winter.
