ABSTRACT
Three Aeromonas hydrophila isolates were recovered from five common carp fish fingerlings (Cyprinus carpio) having history of fin rot, maintained in glass tank. Isolates were confirmed as A. hydrophila on the basis of cultural, morphological and different bio-chemical tests. Antibiotic sensitivity testing pattern showed that all the three isolates were sensitive to chlortetracycline followed by oxytetracycline, ampicillin and gentamicin. Complete resistance was observed against streptomycin. It was suggested to use a combination of drugs for treatment/controlling the disease either by feeding or bath due to multiple drug resistance pattern of A. hydrophila.Keywords: Aeromonas hydrophila, Antibiogram, Fin rot
