ABSTRACT
A case report of hymenolepiasis in a 4 years old child was diagnosed on the basis of characteristic eggs in the stool sample. Two doses of niclosamide showed complete cure. The present paper records first report of H. nana from Srinagar city of Jammu and Kashmir state (temperate zone).Key words: Hymenolepiasis, Kashmir, temperate zone
