ABSTRACT
A total of 217 mastitic milk samples were tested to identify different causative organisms of mastitis. Nocardia spp. was recorded in 6 samples with a prevalence of 2.76%. In-vitro drug sensitivity of isolates showed moderate sensitivity towards cephotaxime, enrofloxacin and gentamicin. However, the mastitic animals didn’t respond to the antibiotic treatment by parenteral and intra-mammary route.Keywords: Cow, mastitis, Nocardia spp.
