ABSTRACT
Dairy Farmers’ awareness about rabies was evaluated. One hundred and fifty respondents were interviewed regarding transmission, symptoms, myths/ misconceptions, prevention and control of rabies. Only 19.3% farmers showed high level of knowledge, while 42.7% and 38% farmers were in medium and low knowledge categories, respectively. The study revealed the need to enlighten the dairy farmers about the transmission, prevention and control of rabies.Keywords: Dairy farmers, knowledge, rabies
